Mobile App Design

Concept project

Tidewell

Tidewell explores how a wellness brand can make booking a class or a session take seconds, while keeping the soft, unhurried feel the brand needs.

Self-initiated concept

Mobile App Design

Tidewell is a fictional brand. This is a self-initiated concept created to demonstrate our approach, not a client engagement, and it does not represent real results.

The hypothetical brief

The challenge

Picture a group of studios whose customers book by phone and messaging apps. The app needs to make discovery and booking effortless, handle memberships, and feel like an extension of the in-studio experience.

Our approach

  1. 01

    Booking in three taps

The home screen surfaces the next available sessions near the user, so a booking needs no more than three interactions.

  2. 02

    Soft, tactile UI

Rounded surfaces, muted colour and gentle motion reflect the brand, without sacrificing contrast or legibility.

  3. 03

    Designing every state

Empty schedules, full classes, waitlists and cancellations each have a considered screen instead of an error message.
